Back in 1978, Alcala was one of three men behind a screen while a bachelorette asked them questions before choosing one to date.
In 1968, Rodney Alcala, better known as βThe Dating Game Killer,β lured eight-year-old Tali Shapiro to his Hollywood apartment.
Police were quick to arrive on the scene after a concerned motorist witnessed Alcala taking little Tali. Alcala fled before he could be apprehended and went to New York.
During his killing spree he even appeared on TV show The Dating Game.
He was later given the nickname "Dating Game Killer".
